From cozy cafes to memorable dinners, the Cooperstown area has some wonderful places to eat. A few of our personal favorites:

Origins Cafe'- One of the most unique dining experiences in the area. Located at 558 Beaver Meadow Road, this seasonal cafe' is tucked away inside a beautiful working greenhouse and garden, serving fresh, locally sourced food surrounded by plants and flowers. Be sure to check their event schedule for Friday-night dinners, live music and their popular Full Moon dance parties- a fun and unforgettable experience.

Tuscana- A family-owned Northern Italian restaurant at 64 Main Street in downtown Cooperstown just steps from the Baseball Hall of Fame. A great choice for a special dinner- and we especially love the sea bass!

Bocca Osteria - A warm, family-owned Italian favorite known for its Neopolitan-style pizzas baked in a custom, six-ton custom oven imported from Naples. Be sure to try the bruschetta toast- it's one of our favorites.

Norbu- A wonderful spot for favorable Indian cuisine, including traditional curries, tandoori dishes, fresh naan and vegetarian options. We especially enjoy stopping here for lunch. Located at 149 Main Street, Norbu is in the heart of downtown Cooperstown village close to many gift shops, book stores, bakery and of course, the famous Baseball Hall of Fame.

Bull's Head Inn- Looking to explore a little farther? Head toward Cobleskill, where you will find the Bull's Head Inn- a local, historic landmark dating back to the 1800's, offering great food, old world charm, and even a touch of haunted history. About a 20- minute drive from the farmhouse, it's well worth the trip for a memorable dinner. Said to be haunted by Grace Steacy, one of the building 's last private residents. Grace was a member of the Woman's Christian Temperance Union, and strongly opposed to alcohol. After her death, the property became a restaurant, and rather ironically, a bar was installed in the area that had been her bedroom.
